About This Event

The WORD with Senior Apostle John Chi — "BY THEIR FRUITS, THEY SHALL BE KNOWN." Proof text: Matthew 7:16-20. A powerful teaching on the fruit of the spirit, authenticity, and discerning genuine servants of God.

Message Excerpt

People of God, the fruit of the spirit are: Love, Humility, Patience, Self-control, Kindness, etc. Christianity is not just about what you say but about what you produce. Many people shout in church, speak in tongues but lack character and conduct. A gift can be imitated, anointing faked but the fruit of such acts cannot be hidden. Anointing attracts people, but character sustains the calling.

John 8:32 says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” A genuine servant of God stands for truth even when it is unpopular. They do not manipulate scripture to please people. They do not dilute the gospel to gain followers. Their ministry produces freedom and clarity.

What is happening today calls for spiritual awakening. False servants protect themselves. True servants protect the truth. A genuine servant of God lives what they preach. Their private life does not contradict their public ministry. Their life reflects Integrity and Moral discipline because the greatest sermon is the life that people see daily. Pride corrupts ministry, but humility preserves it.

Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works.” A genuine servant of God serves God in public and in private, in abundance and in hardship, in recognition and in obscurity. They are not moved by applause or criticism.

Today the Holy Spirit is calling the body of Christ back to authenticity. We are living in a time where appearance is celebrated, titles honoured, and crowds are admired. But heaven is looking for the fruits of the spirit of God. The time has come when God is separating the real from the fake. Everything that is not planted by God will be uprooted, Matthew 15:13.

In today’s world, everything is about packaging. Products are packaged to look bigger, better, and more valuable than they actually are. When Satan came to Eve in Genesis 3:1–6, he did not come as a monster. He came through something that looked harmless and appealing. The fruit looked pleasant, desirable, good for wisdom but inside that attractive package was death, shame, and separation from God. Sin is therefore packaged as pleasure, rebellion as freedom, pride as confidence, lust as love, compromise as wisdom but beneath the packaging is destruction. God often hides great destinies in ordinary packaging. Never underestimate the quiet person, the rejected person, the forgotten person. David was young, unknown, overlooked, out in the field but inside David’s packaging was a king.

Jesus did not come as a powerful king but as a son of a carpenter, born in a manger, raised in a poor family. Yet inside that humble packaging was, The Savior of the world, the King of Kings, the Lamb of God. So, your packaging does not determine your destiny. Not everything that is popular, charismatic, impressive is from God. We must learn to discern. Moses was a fugitive. Rahab was a prostitute. Peter was impulsive. Paul was a persecutor, yet God filled them with purpose and power. What matters to God is not your packaging but your heart.

Beloved, we are living in a generation where everyone can see the stage, but almost no one cares to see the sacrifice behind it. Social media shows the victory, but hides the process. It shows the crown, but hides the cross. It shows the applause, but hides the prayer closet.

Many people today look at someone’s life and think success happened overnight. They see the platform, the influence, the blessings, the opportunities — and they assume it came easily. But what they don’t see are the years of preparation. They don’t see the nights when that person cried and prayed when nobody was watching. They don’t care to see the rejection, the failures, the loneliness, and the discipline. The world celebrates what is visible. But God rewards what is hidden. One of the painful realities in the body of Christ today is men of God fighting against other men of God. Jealousy among ministers often leads to public attacks, negative preaching about others, character assassination. A mature servant celebrates what God is doing through others because the aim of a man of God is to build the church of Christ, strengthen believers, and expand the kingdom. When people only chase the stage, they collapse under pressure. But when they embrace the sacrifice, they carry the stage with grace. So, do not be discouraged when your process is hidden. Your preparation season is not punishment.

Let us pray: “Heavenly Father, remove division from the body of Christ. Let your servants walk in humility and unity. Let the church rise above jealousy and competition. And let your kingdom advance with power, in Jesus’ mighty name. For more of this message, watch Ark of God Tv.
